Phil Hale
PresidentWith 25 years of industry experience, Phil founded Greystone Financial in 2001. As an entrepreneur, he has developed risk-reduction strategies exclusively for entrepreneurs throughout his career. From working as an investment advisor to focusing on risk management for key executives, Phil has always enjoyed finding smart solutions to his clients’ unique challenges.
Phil built a team with a wide array of expertise and specialized his approach for business owners, because he knows planning against unforseen risks is often neglected by busy entrepreneurs. Understanding his clients’ personal as well as business needs, Phil designs protection plans to provide for both. From life and disability insurance to employment benefits solutions, Phil established his firm as a single point of contact for all of his clients’ needs. With a diversified team and vast professional resources, Phil offers not only well-designed solutions but also time-efficiency through integrated planning. To him, the key in helping entrepreneurs is to provide them the time and focus they need for bettering their business.
Outside of work, Phil enjoys skiing and boating with his family. He has 3 children and 1 grandchild. As a community leader, he coaches soccer on the weekend and supports sports and music programs in schools.

Alex Hale
AdvisorAlex joined Greystone in a full-time advisor position in 2017, after completing his post secondary education in Global Business Management at Sheridan College.
Alex has spent summers working at a real estate office in cottage country where he executed marketing and advertising strategies, during peak season of sales. Alex has been working alongside Phil at Greystone Financial since 2014, he searches for new clients and tends to their needs.
